Honoring 10 Years!

To our Jeff’s Place community-

It’s hard to believe our virtual gala campaign has come to a close! I want to thank our entire gala committee, our Board of Directors, our staff, and YOU! Above, please watch the video from some of our Jeff’s Place kids thanking YOU for making Jeff’s Place a haven of healing and hope. I need to give a special shout-out to the most dedicated, flexible, effective, and FUN volunteers who pivoted on a dime to create this month-long campaign. With 25 years in the nonprofit sector, I’ve never been so grateful and proud of an event committee like them!

Through your contributions, we have raised more than $125,000 through this virtual gala campaign. Thank you for enabling us to continue to serve our current families, to begin serving the families on our wait list, and to expand our services and those we serve as a result of the increased needs in our community specific to COVID-19. Stay tuned for a newsletter soon where I will share with you how we have responded to the pandemic through the support of our community, as well as our plans for our new home at 281 Pleasant Street in Framingham.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule a time to speak with me- I’d love to connect!

In gratitude, love, and sending prayers of safety,

An Inside Look at Jeff’s Place!

Jeff’s Place provides FREE grief support groups for families who have experienced a significant death loss. We Serve children ages 3-18, along with their caregivers. We facilitate healthy integration of loss by helping families feel connected with each other and less alone in their grief journey. All groups are facilitated by both a Clinician and a trained grief-informed volunteer.

We also provide individual and family counseling along with crisis intervention and professional educational trainings on childhood bereavement for local schools and organizations.
